must have missed this one originally, but good post.
OP, I don't think you could even sign up under your name w/o being 18, but like some other people said you could sign up using a corp that your parents help you setup, then down the road you could work on getting the corp solely in your name.
This sounds pretty complicated. I'm looking into it and I covered a little of of corporations in a business class but it the whole process intimidates me. Are there any costs what so ever doing this?

I ended up going with a different niche as well. Main keyword is a long tail that is in the domain name. EXACT search pulls 40,800, though with much more competition than the broad search shows. Broad says the monthly search volume is 368,000. I'll have to go through my potential future campaign list and research them with the exact filter on.
After 1 day I've got 1 article on the page and another scheduled to be up in an hour or so. I submitted it to Stumble Upon and received 105 page views on the first day strictly because of that. I'm going to work on more content and (free) social media today. Should probably get looking for backlinks as well.
Just lie about your age, its none of their business anyhow. They'll still send you cheques, I promise.

What are the risks of doing that? Is it just losing my AdSense account? And from what I hear many people create multiple AdSense accounts anyways? If it is really easy to create a new AdSense account that I may just be peer pressured into signing up tonight.
How would they even be able to find out my age anyways?
They won't. Worst case they ask for ID or something and you don't send it, or blur out the address/age/etc.
Ed: also, your only realistic risk is that they don't pay you and cancel your account if they somehow found out. They won't.
Is it easy just to create a new account?
It's Day 3 for my site now. I have a new 100% original article posted daily. I got some alright traffic from StumbleUpon and a few Likes but I've yet to rank in Google. I need backlinks. I'm exclusively trying to get 1 way backlinks. I've submitted to 3-5 link directories, now I need to focus on how I can write articles about my niche to places like EZine Articles. I'm thinking I should create 2-3 articles and submit them to each article directory, likely at least 1 list post. There was a second question but I believe I just answered it myself.
And another reminder, this is not a journal of my entry to AM. This is a list of questions that happens to relate to my progression in AM, I also try to supply you with enough information to help me answer the questions. When I reply to this thread, it is because I have a question or I have found a solution. There will be no filler posts made by me.
