Ad:Tech SF starts tomorrow. Just wanted to see who was going and maybe try and meet a few WF'ers if my schedule allows.
I am not a huge fan of conferences, but I usually enjoy ad:tech, mostly because people are there to get shit done instead of party their ass off. (not that you cannot do that, just that it is not the focus of the conference for most attendees)
I never attend sessions at these things (although Leadscon had some great sessions, that made me at least look at the agenda before deciding to bail) but I pretty much speak with every single exhibitor to see what they are working on, what is working for them, what is the next big fad etc.
Out of the maybe 200 or so booths, I will already be doing business with maybe 25 - so put some face time in with partners, will be negotiating with another 10-15 - a "hi, nice to meet you" can go a long way in negotiating, and will find 5-10 new partners that I have never heard of.
Anyone else going to be there?
