It looks like ad*word*s went through last night and wiped out a bunch more single page affiliate offer campaigns. It happened to one of my campaigns and I've checked with a few other big marketers and they had campaigns get hit too. Here's what we know so far:

* It happened late last night.
* It happened only to single page affiliate campaigns.
* They did not send out any TOS violation notifications which tells me even if the pages had enough content to not violate the "bridge page" rule, they still do not create an "overall good user experience" according to G.
* It affected the content network advertisers more than search network.
* It took the campaigns from getting a ton of impressions straight down to 0.

Don't get too worried yet tho because it looks like they didn't hit EVERY site, but I have confirmed that this happened last night to at least 4 different advertisers with long running campaigns. I hate when G decides to get tighter and tighter with their rules. Seems like it happens all the time now.

Did any of you see anything strange happen to any of your LP to offer campaigns?

I dunno about you. But my offers got link to "site's blog" in footer (yes you guessed it right, an auto blog about the offers). Almost unnoticed by visitor. So far none of my campaign got hit by G.

Yah, I got hit with a few of my campaigns. So, how do i get over this? Just have links to other pages within the site directly related to the content?

Anyone know where I can get a script?

I link to a mini-site that I've setup, where the destination page is the landing page and then the bottom navigation links to the rest of the "site". Google hasn't done anything to me yet, though I'm also a much smaller pub.

Is the mini-site on the same domain as the landing page, or are they two seperate domains?

Interesting, I just received an email last night from Google regarding a dormant Adwords account ( haven't used this one for a good 12 months at least ), they notified me that one of the words in my campaign was a trademark term and that I couldn't use it "Ipod".

This was for a campaign that wasn't running. A bit odd.

Fuck them.. I had campaigns running for months getting like 300,000 impressions a day, now im getting maybe 1-300.. all of those campaigns linked to mini sites with at least 5 pages and related content. All my traffic was on the content network too, no search.

I was getting 10MM+ impressions per day for over 5 months. It suddenly went down to 0 impressions overnight but the strange thing is I did not get any TOS violation email from G.

That just tells me my site was not in direct violation, but also not up to par to providing a good user experience. Not sure though. I'd love to hear from big spenders to see if you've had similar experiences.
