Apparently since we switched servers and changed our DNS people have been having issues with the update and are only seeing database errors on the site. Because of this, I am getting a shit ton of IM's from lots of people asking what they are supposed to do instead, or how can they fix it as fast as possible. I feel like a therapist at a rehab clinic for crack addicts!

So with that said.. how addicted to WickedFire are you... and why?

Gah i was one of the people that bothered you with the question.
In my defense, I'm at work and am bored.

I voted for the last one.

Why? Well, I own the damn thing! Duh! But really it's because I want to make sure everything is running smoothly and so I can catch the spammers and ebook fuckers as quickly as possible, also to keep up with the fun in the StS forums, which, believe it or not, are NOT the main draw of WF like it used to be from June 2006 - September 2006. Now it seems like the Affiliate Marketing area, and even the Mailer areas are the big draw, for lurkers and new users at least. Weirdos!

6-12 hours for me. And I don't think I post that much. Since I'm still a relative n00b at many things, I utilize WF as a handy "go to" reference whenever I have a question about something.

Take it to heart, fellow n00bs: You will hardly EVER see me starting a thread to ask a question on here. This is one forum where the search feature will actually net you some good results.

i voted the low end of 6-12 but it may be 1-5. usually try to login daily and click new posts and see what's out there and go from there. i was spending a lot more time like at least 3 hours daily in the past like reading every single thread and just sitting there refreshing waiting for others to reply, etc but then my wife asked me to estimate how much time i was on here. well she laid down the law and told me i needed to be working on IM more than reading about it. i couldn't really argue with that. the rest is history. however we are both addicted enough to be seriously considering getting WF tattooes. perhaps in a few more months when our emergency fund is filled up and i'm able to quit my IT job and work from home. WF gets huge props for helping us achieve our dreams! so yes we are addicted to WickedFire!

It depends on my work load. Some days 10 min, some days 6 hours. lol. I like reading through the older posts.

So I voted I never close it. Heh.

BTW, I am one of those people getting DB errors. I got it fixed through the host file after getting the new IP from Jon. :)

I just picked one and clicked. I think it's fair to say I'm fairly addicted to WF, but not so much that I can't turn the damn thing off. I mean really, you gotta take some time out for yourself and masturbate every so often!:love-smiley-086:

I was converted when I found it by accident after Ad-Tech SF.

I love this forum, and I get a dose of good info on aojon.com too. It's funny the way a bunch of other bloggers out there hate you. ahahaha

Anyways, I probably come back here 3-4 times per hour to see if someone needs any fucked up advice or if there's any ideas I can steal.

Speaking of the idea stealing:

I took that monetizing weed site post and Jon's 'fuck the dumb shit let's make some motherfucking money' post and within hours had up a 'weed smoker's insurance' website that has already made over $300 in 2 days...

So, ya... I'm hooked

p.s. my weed insurance money is going paying for my trip to Miami this summer!

CorrectAD, brilliant post. Even if you aren't fully telling the truth (or are), this is the kind of thinking that makes a lot of money. That is the epitome of low competition marketing and thinking outside the box.

hahaha don't you know PrePaidLegal pays out $120 for a $25 signup?

THIS IS THE REASON WHY YOU GUYS DO NOT MAKE MONEY! YOU READ GOD DAMN FORUMS ALL DAY AND TAKE NO ACTION!

/ rant over with.

Altho, I will admit I used to spend 5-6 hrs.

Holy shit man.. I need to be giving YOU the props for creaitivty. That site of yours and the idea of it is fucking brilliant! But get ready for copycats. Because for every loyal person on here, there are 100 lurkers ready to jack it for themselves. But hey, high five to you on actually taking something you read and being quick to capitalize on it. Keep us updated on how it goes.
