Holy fucking shit. I just got my two new 23" IPS monitors with height adjustment and they are the fucking shit. I can't believe I made due so long without them. The colors and viewing angles on the IPS are fucking amazing. The height adjustment will likely help me improve my posture.

If you are on an non-height adjustable monitors, or on anything that isn't IPS then I'd seriously be looking into making the switch. I got them from new egg for only $150 a pop:

anyway, check out the 27" IPS Monitors with an extremely high resoultuon. 1080p isnt enough as you go up in screen size. There are some made by off brand companies that sell over at ebay worth looking at. New Qnix QX2710 LED Evolution

In-plane switching, most cheap LCD panels are TN which stands for Twisted nematic. IPS panels have much better viewing angles and look better overall.

TN panels often look bad in portrait configuration, especially from the side that would be the bottom in landscape. IPS panels don't have that problem.
 
A decent monitor makes SUCH a difference.

If you don't have one, your white is yellow. You might not believe me.. but wait until you side-by-side that shit. You're lookin at yellow, son! I picked up two 23 inch dell ultrasharps, they can tilt sideways so soon I'm going to put a 30inch in between them. Then I'm gonna put a 30 inch inbetween my buttcheeks and run around pretending to be thehobbster.
