lol its not yahoo inventory! just because RMX is owned by yahoo it doesnt mean they r sending traffic from yahoo owned properties.. Right media exchange has worst traffic than adperium IMO.. They send u the shittiest traffic from the shittiest web sites with 5-10 banners runing on the same page... i wont even pay 10c CPM for traffic from that shitt hole(others might).

perhaps you can find a good dsp with superior targeting + data. Certainly there are those that allows you to target individual sites.

you have a point. The thing about traffic from ad exchange is that most of those traffic are remnant. I won't call it totally shit though. One thing for sure is that buying traffic via ad exchange is probably much more cheaper than when you are buying guaranteed traffic from publishers.
