Adsense - 1500 clicks less, but made a dollar more

Adsense is weird, but this is a first:

This week had 1500 clicks less, but earned a dollar more on adsense.

No changes on my part at all...

Have any of you experienced this non-sense? Any ideas as to the cause?

The advertisers paid more for the clicks that you generated this week. The price that the advertisers paid per click was enough to compensate for the lower CTR on your end. This kind of fluctuation happens all the time (to me at least) and is to be expected with AdSense.

Cool, will watch the stats further, but still very strange. It if it was a couple of hundred clicks I'd understand, but 1500... weird shit....

Also noticed how lately 2 different sites show exact same stats: same CTR, impressions everything.

it sounds like you were "smart priced" while you had the higher traffic numbers. maybe the visitors were considered low quality to google. this will effect your entire adsense account.

read up on adsense "smart pricing". i think it gets recalculated each week.
