Go directly back to econ 101 and on your way there, read up on the downfall of Barings bank and Nick Leeson. Arbitrage by its very nature is prone to risk and loss.

sorry dude, but that doesn't make you look any better than him, because arbitrage by the book IS indeed riskfree profit, as you just utilize the imbalances between two markets for your own favor. you do this by making two trades: trade a) is buying at market one for price x and trade b) is selling at the same time at market 2 for price x+y, where y is you margin. that is what they are teaching you in econ101 ;)

the ypn-google-adsense-dilemma is, that there is no "same time" but instead a probability-function that does include an "lose it all"-outcome ;)

arbitrage by its very nature therefore is risk-free, fucking around with google is not ;)

I was referring to traffic arbitrage, which is not the same as financial arbitrage, but I was attempting to issust -- never mind.

i know what you mean, thats why i made the smilies. it is just that some guys really believe that this is arbitrage like they have been teached and then they get a rude awakening. i fully ack with the rest of your post and i hate it, that the whole thing is named arbitrage at all. it is trading, simply trading.

traffic trading would have been a much better term but that probably wasn't fancy enough :)

I hate to break it to you but honestly I can see lots of reasons why Google would have banned your account.

About findinginvestmentproperty.com
1. Your content has no paragraphing.
2. You got fake links. Fake links will anger your visitors and "force" them to click on your adsense ads. Why would Google want clicks from users trying to escape your website ?
3. Your pages are formated like those ebook websites
4. It's obviously a MFA or just sloppy.

If you were google, you would ban that site too.

So if this happens to someone, what's the next step? Can you get another account and start all over?

nope. you could technically get another one by starting a company and registering under that name. I don't recommend it unless you know what you're doing tho.

Btw you only made 700 bucks from 15000 clicks? What the hell?

That's 21 cents a click. Sounds pretty average in arbitrage with smartpricing ups and downs plus possible non-US traffic if he wasn't geotargeting.

EDIT: My mistake. That was 4-5 cents a click. Yes that sucks. You probably lost money even if Google paid you.

I would wager there is a 0% chance Google will ban you for any of the reasons listed above.

And the question regarding an image next to the ads has still not been answered.
