So I haven't used Adsense in about a year and earlier in the week I thought hey I'm going to go and try and make some money with Adsense again just to see if I still got what it takes.
Anyway I had to deactivate my old account in order to setup a new one, did that over a week ago and then about 5 days ago I put up a single Adsense block on a website that has 100% unique content and a unique design.
When I first put the code into the site no ads displayed, there was just empty space where the block should appear and I remembered back awhile that it sometimes takes like 3 hours for the ads to start showing up so I waited and a few days wen't by and still nothing so I tossed off an email to Google saying hey WTF is going on here and they came back and said here is a generic email that is fucking useless go to hell.
So I thought ok well fuck it I'll wait a few more days and see if anything changes and see if the ads start to display or not, then today I was curious to see how the site would look on my Android phone so I opened up the browser loaded up the website and as expected it was big and ugly and as I scrolled around I noticed that the Adsense block was actually displaying ads and I'm like ah finally they updated that shit.
So I loaded the site back up on my desktop in Firefox, Chrome, and IE and guess what no ads are being shown.
Anyone ever see this behavior before where Adsense blocks on the site won't show up on a desktop but they will show on the mobile? And before you ask the answer is no I don't have any JavaScript blockers installed or anything like that, I even turned off all my anti-virus software to see if that was causing the issue and nope wasn't that either.
