Hey All,

I've started a few sites with affiliate programs and things are going pretty well. I have a few sites used for back-linking that have adsense on them. These sites used to pay out enough for their rent and a few bucks a month. Now, without a change in CTR or keywords the EPC is getting really low.
I used to make $0.30-$0.40 per click. Now I am getting $0.05-$0.10.

I've read that you can eliminate low paying ads using the competing site features, but the question is...

How can I figure out which ads are paying so poorly, and which are being clicked?
Is there an easy way?

Thanks to all who reply. 'cept trolls, y'all can go to hell.

I posted this question about 12 hours ago and got a javascript error at the same time. It didn't show, so if it comes up double don't flame me. :anon.sml:

i had the same question. but that low paying ad is there because G put it there purposely.

say that ad is number 4 on your block (assuming you have only 1 block, which i do). if you eliminate it, what is going in its place? a higher-paying ad?

wouldn't a higher paying ad would have already been above that lower paying ad on your block if it existed or more likely, if G had chosen to put it there?

plus you never know what people are seeing in other geographic areas, times of day, etc. i just don't worry about it. G will start putting more big money ads on your site when it damn well pleases, probably when it sees you are getting a high CTR.

some days i get 3 cent clicks on a given site, then the next day, dollar clicks. the best thing you can do is forget about it and just build more sites IMO.

Ok here is what I did I hope it proves helpful. :)

Generally there are MFA that you need to block.

STEP 1: Check your stats to see where you getting traffic from. (region)

STEP 2: Search for Adsense Preview tool an install it.

STEP 3: Go to your page using IE as the tool only works on IE right click on your page and select adsense preview tool.

STEP 4: Select the region from you get the traffic it will display all the ads.

STEP 5: Visit all the sites and block those that are MFA using Competitive ad filter.

It takes a little time to do this but it's worth it :)

I hope this helps

Thanks Y'all,

I figure that all I can really do is wait and see. The ads that I see on my site look like legit bidders and not MFA.
The sites are still paying for themselves but I want to squeeze every penny out of them.

Thanks for the advice.
