i have 10 domains (i call them "test domains") all of which get at least 100 hits per day, some of them 3-500 hits per day, organic.

several of them are exact match .coms, 2 of them are number one on google organic for a 2 word keyword that gets about 2-3000 hits per month. i am getting the majority of those hits to my site.

ive got wordpress installed with 100s of custom written articles, along with an autoblog feeding relevant posts on a cron job daily. it also looks very nice, and has adsense posted on the sidebar, header, and top of th epage.

the problem is: at best i am making $5 per month with adsense.:hi: i can't figure out how to increase my earnings, if you pm me i will even out my domains, i have nothing to lose to give them away.

ive tried putting affiliate banners and other links, and nothing has worked.

anyone have any tips on how to monetize this better?

Collect emails and send out relevant offers? Maybe the niche is just shitty with a low cpc?

Try having 2x250 side to side adsense blocks one paragraph down into the articles with vibrant colors and mute colors on other links. Gives me a high ctr.

what's your ctr?
probably the placements can be optimized, no way to make only $5/month with >1000 daily pageviews unless you picked a totally unprofitable niche (but this is rather hard to find )

Where is your traffic coming from ? Is it automated ? I know you said organic but maybe you bought some automated traffic package which you forgot about!
 
In general work on either have the adsense either fit in very well with you theme or be really noticeable by using clashing colors and so on, your adsense doesnt fit in nor is it very noticeable.

2nd site is down.
Site 3 the ads are too far outside the content. You need to put the ads where people are reading. Test 1x336 or 2x250 inside the articles with the text wrapping around.
Choose another block for the sidebar, the block you are using is way too big and most of the ad text is outside the page.

The adsense in the content is broken and doesnt show for me, and the 3 above the header are again too are away from where anyone is reading.
 
calamity: thanks so much i will work on making the corrections...i just checked my pm, i shulndt have put a "." between the two words so thats why it appeard to be down.

ive noticed that sometimes the ads appear to be broken. all i can say is that on some days they appear to be working, on others they dont.

answerspay: all traffic is organic, have on page seo, with 1000ish backlinks, as well as all the other usual seo stuff. drove traffic before but i check my logs and it is all unique, real visitors.
 
why are you only sticking with adsense? you can always go with a CPM payout provider. Even at a $.50eCPM you'll be making $15 per month rather than $5. you can also probably get someone willing to pay you for pop under traffic.
