Adsense Rates Falling .. .. .. ..

Jesus Christ Jon. It's midnight here, so that means it's gotta be like 3:00 there right? You deserve every penny your making.

I agree. The worst part about it is you know they aren't crediting the advertisers that money.

I was worried about the IP's too, but my wife and I are 2 different people and we don't click each other's ads, so hopefully there will not be an issue. Their TOS state that each person is allowed one account and says nothing about who can log in to who's account. I would probably push the legalities of it if they tried to ban us.

I would just worry about using the same computer with the same connection to log into multiple accounts.

When you notice that all of the sites on your account has their adsense rates dropping out of nowhere, where everything except for that is normal, there is a very good chance that you've been smartpriced. When this happens, it's the entire account, not one site.

Its effecting every site I am running adsense on, I was getting killer hits for some time, but all of the sudden everything dropped! Actually there were a few days that I was getting $3.00 to $7.00 clicks, now $0.03, $0.11, ..... SHIT!!!!!!

Oh well, aint life a bitch some times?

Generally, they'll lift the smartpriced flag after a month or two, so it's not permanent. Never happened to me so I can't say for sure.
what is the best way to avoid being smartpriced? diversifying traffic?
also I dont belive the period is 1 month

whoa. nice payouts there; I never had anything more than $1.60 but then again I ahvent been in this game that long.
one suggestion someone else here made was to take the arbirage sites offline and run a legitimate site for a week or 2.. everything goes back to normal.

I have only been doing this shit for a few months myself, affiliate marketing that is.

I use to spend hours in front of the PC designing, but never did anything with it untill I got layed off.

Ohh yeah, thats one of the changes I made. I dropped the couple Arbitrage sites that I did have up. I never had a problem untill I started throwing up Arbi sites, must have done something wrong :?

What ppc engines are you using for your arbi sites? Have you checked to see how much international traffic you are getting?

Ive only used Adwords so far, but am starting to look into a few others that have been mentioned on the board here. I may try MSN or Overture next, probably MSN, Ive heard that MSN traffic converts better overall than allot of others. I dont remember where I picked that up, but for some reason it stuck in the back of mind, so ill have to give it a shot.

I have no clue as to the geo location of my traffic, ill have to look into that.

I have become obsessive about the location of my traffic. Can make a huge difference when you understand where sources are sending traffic from, and also can help to figure out a way to properly monetize it.

dunno but I've concluded that using adwords for PPC arbitrage along with adsense is a good way to get smartpriced.

Check this out on Shoemoney's blog http://www.shoemoney.com/2006/08/26...t-on-googles-strategy-to-combat-mfa-websites/

"Kim explained that in many cases they are using Adwords conversion data to tell what MFA sites were actaully converting for advertisers. She said using this data helps them easily identify arbitragers."

This is just what I've observed and that generally the people I've seen say they've been smartpriced for arbitrage were using adwords along with adsense.

I haven't used adwords to target adsense arbitrage sites nor have I tested this hunce and don't think I will unless I get bored or something. :p

Glad you're clicks are back. :banana_sml:

FYI...
I went ahead and e-mailed google about the multiple accounts/same computer and they just replied and said no problem because we are 2 different people. As long as she isn't clicking ads we are golden. :338:

Thats awsome, Im going to go ahead and get one up in my wifes name also. One for the Arbitrage and one for the long term sites.
