Adsense video ads kick ass

I noticed that my myspace site was all of a sudden kicking ass. My CTR went from 2.5% to almost 5% and my revenue has basically doubled. I went to my site and saw the video ad on my "above the fold" ad. Kick ass.

My pictures look like shit next to it though.

They clicked on that ad way more than my other ones, so I agree with you. Myspace has those kinds of ads on their site too.
 
Video ads are currently available in several ad formats:
  • Medium Rectangle (300 X 250)
  • Large Rectangle (336 X 280)
  • Square (250 X 250)
  • Small Square (200 X 200)

Sweet news Jdog. I've got a site like that too (who doesn't?) so I enabled image ads so video ads can be displayed.

I'm running the 250x250 and you have the 336x280, which is probably more popular for video.

The video ads aren't showing up for me yet. I'll post the results of this experiment if I see a difference in CTR.
 
Mine only show sometimes. I haven't seen it all weekend, but I can definitely tell when they are there. Good luck.

I took it as you saying I was lying, if I took that wrong than I apologize. The ads on myspace I was referring to are the precision click ads that are very similar to video ads.
