The points made are plausible but webmasters should control what shows up on their own sites, and shouldn't let Google do it for them.

But in the end the AM industry will take the blame.

Wait, I thought there were ways of controlling what Adsense displayed.
Not internally from your Adsense control panel, but a few simple things you can do the code surrounding it on your page.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I've never used Adsense on my sites because it pays worse than washing windows at the lights.

ADSDAQ is a CPM ad network that lets pretty much any publisher display their ads. They're not like the bigger networks that require a certain number of impressions per day/month/etc. (at least they weren't when I checked them out a year or so ago).

Anyway, publishers set a bid as to what minimum CPM price they'll accept and the network does its best to fill the slots. I don't recall their interface offering much ability to customize which ads were and were not allowed.
