I am interested in starting an experts blogging community. What are some things that might attract people to contribute to my site?

It's a "concept pitch". Give them the entire idea and persuade them that, while it's a start up, it will quickly become a great source of driving business for their real sites. They need an incentive. I doubt you're prepared to provide a monetary reward so convince them that this project will become a powerful website and they're getting in at the ground level.

-Post on Craigslist
-Hire from guru.com

THose are two good ideas.

Those are great ideas. Thanks.

I am just building every aspect of the site so from the custom php Joomla mods and components to the graphics and SEO. phew.

If you can convince some actual "expert bloggers" to actively take part, that should help.

I really don't want any expert bloggers. I want regular people talking about what they know best. I am actually getting some randoms posting some good stuff. Nice article on meditation today. Best article yet.
