Adwords Keyword Analysis??

Hello,

when I use all matched for a specific keyword. Let's say I'm using software as keyword.

I do it this way

software
"software"
[software]

in the Keyword Analysis I get this

Note: in this diagnosis the search password protect did not trigger this keyword. However, another keyword in this ad group ( [password protect] ) is triggered by this search.

What does that means?

It just says that the searched phrase matched more than one of your phrases in your ad groupings. Rather than give you skewed stats for the group (Two hits for on individual search) AdWords elects to trigger only one of the keyphrases. More often than not it's the most exact match, in your case [password protect].

If you had a group with the software examples you'd get the same note if someone searched "software". Even though it matches each phrases your stats will overlap if two phrases triggered for the same search.

On that same example if someone was to search "software cracks" not all three keywords will fire.

so if i create different adgroups for each keyword, would that solve the problem?
