Is there a way to see how many searches a keyword has in google in the form of numbers? I see the google adwords tool isn't detailed, do any of you know how I can see exact numbers of searches for a specific phrase or keyword rather than a little bar graph showing me near irrelevant information?

the google estimation tool can give you an idea of the number of clicks you'll likely get based on a CPC/budget/market level, although for some keywords you won't get any data... to be honest, I'm not sure the data is that great, but will give you a ball park figure on what people are paying per click and what sort of traffic you'll get. Better than a poke in the eye with a stick I suppose...

Well if you use some creative math and combine the numbers from AdWords Estimator with the average percentage of clicks on a SERP that sponsored results get...

Or you could just bid yourself down to a low position on the first page and track impressions. You could even do that on Adcenter and then adjust for market share (though its unreliable).
