[Adwords] When u launched yr first campaign, did u run into "Ads not showing" issue?

Hey guys...

Like to ask, when u first opened your Adwords account and launched your first campaign, did you run into "Ads not showing" issue?

To resolve the issue, did you actually contact Adwords Support and were later told "your ad serving was interrupted while they reviewed your
account. For your security and to prevent unauthorized activity, they needed to verify your billing information..."

Does this sound familiar? I'm asking because some of the Adwords accounts I've opened faced similar issue, so was wondering if it is just me or is this something "routine" experienced by all new account owners.

Yes.

However, I've found that if I use an old gmail account to start running AdWords, my ads will start running right away.

If I create a new account, ads won't run for even 1 to 2 weeks. I also just called them up and asked them to fix it. They fixed it in a day, but it happened again next week on another new account.

Gotta love Google.

Hmm.... so would the ads in your new account run smoothly after 1-2 weeks?

By the way... don't get it... what do u mean by your ads wouldn't run smoothly for 1-2 weeks? You mean it runs, then stops suddenly... then u called Adwords, they fixed it and it runs again then it stops again..etc..etc.. for a span of 1-2 weeks? Is that what u r saying?

PS: So I guess the solution would be to create a gmail account, wait for a certain period of time to lapse before creating an Adwords account using that gmail

No, once it starts running it's running.

I create a different AdWords account for every niche I go into. So what I meant was that every time I start a new account, I have to work with the delay again.

Not sure if it automatically runs in 1-2 weeks. I think one account did, but one of the reps I talked to may have just reviewed that account for me as well.
