Can anyone point me to some really good affilaite marketing resources (besides WF) Like a book or website or something. I've been in the online indsutry for a while so I'm not a noob, but I am when it comes to affilaite marketing/PPC stuff. I know the best way to learn is to do....but I think I need to build up a little more knowledge on the subject before I waste too much money. So anything that's not really basic would be helpful (I'm looking more for strategies not concepts). Thanks.
 


There are tons of shitty ebooks, but since you already know the basic concepts, just post your specific questions.

Actually (sshh, don't tell anyone) If you're interested in reading one of those "shitty ebooks" but don't want to pay all you have to do is e-mail them and say you're an affiliate marketer and are really interested in promoting their product and then ask them a few questions about conversions, etc... and then ask for a sample of the product - I've never gotten turned down.
But I'll just post some questions here and hopefully get the answers I need, thanks.
 
If you're new to PPC a great place to start is the Google Learning Center, it gives you clear-cut information on how to set-up and run campaigns. Good strategies for writing copy and bidding on keywords too. Your AM should also be able to help you optimize everything on the network side. Ok, thanks for all the replies (the google learning center was great). One of my biggest questions is what does a successful landing page look like. If I'm promoting an offer through SEM where should I direct the traffic? Does a landing page that I created work better than directing it straight to the advertiser? And if so, what should my landing page have/what should it look like? Should I use an iFrame? If anyone can show me an example of a well converting landing page I would really appreciate it.
