quite often i am not too happy about the choices given by suppliers, when it comes to banners, pop-ups and forms. they are quite often not really keyword optimised and furthermore require more clicks than i like to get to the point.

i wish for a more more integrated approach, e.g. that i could setup the initial capturing form and hence integrate it seamlessly into a blog or site.

now my questions:

- would this be, what often is referred to as pre-population?
- are you in general pro or con for this approach?
- would this have to be negotiated with the supplier / aff. network beforehand or don't they care how people are steered to fill out their forms?

thanks !

You should always check with your affiliate program before you think of doing anything like this. Otherwise you are putting your commissions at risk.

:yin-yang: whitehat out, blackhat in:

If you like playing with fire, cloak the bit of javascript that auto-populates the form and/or the custom form itself so it only shows when the referrer is a SERP, adwords, etc.

ok, thanks. will do, i just sent my affiliate manager at azzogle an email, asking for guidance how i could integrate some of the offers into the look and feel of the site.
