Affiliate Program - E-commerce

Long story short, I've just taken on a position at a high-end men's clothing retailer. Prior to this I owned a digital marketing 'agency'.

The store has minimal online presence.

Current using Lemonstand CMS. Bit of a pain but will change later down the line.

My question is what's the best way to implement an affiliate program on the site? I don't want to go through a network with high set-up fees.

A self-managed program where I can source affiliates myself would be ideal.

Any recommendations?

Solve it all in one fell swoop, Shopify, which looks to be cheaper, and likely better, and Omnistar affiliation "app".

First you should select your e-commerce platform and then see about an affiliate scheme. There are extensions / apps / plugins for most of the big platforms.


Note 1: It's pretty challenging to run an affiliate scheme completely in-house.

Note 2: Some networks will do zero set-up fee.
