I've been reading up on some of the affiliate script stores available, looking to set up with merchants on the usual CJ, Google, LS etc but just curious to see what people are using themselves to set up these affiliate stores.

Seen a few recommendations on other forums but what would you say is best? Say 10,000+ products per store, categorized etc..

And if you provide a custom service doing this, hit me up :pimp:

Thanks

I think what you're referring to is a datafeed. Most merchants have a datafeed, the hard part is just implementing it on your site - it's a bit of a technical obstacle. Check out popshops, I believe they pull 97% of merchants' datafeeds into their system and spit out code for affiliates. I don't think they charge very much either. Hope this helps.

Yeah I would be referring to data feeds - had a little think I may well go hiding for a week to code something custom but thanks for your suggestion I will check out Popshops just not sure how customizable it will be. No doubt leave a big footprint?

SellFire offers a Data Feed API

Hi Terry,

Since you are coder, you could look into using a third party data feed web service to do a lot of the heavy lifting for you. My company, SellFire.com, offers a single API that allows you to easily search through the data feeds from over a thousand merchants across multiple networks. You can search by keyword, category, price, discount and more.

Check out the documentation here:

In the interest of not making this shameless self promotion, I'll mention that Popshops also offers a data API. They call it their data pack.

Thanks,
Jason

I heard of popshops awhile ago but had forgotten all about them. Thanks for mentioning them again to get them on my radar screen. I, too, am interested in learning more about data feeds as well.
