Just got the go ahead from the wife to attend this event and went to register, but it is sold out. Anyone have an exhibit floor pass they are willing to sell?

thank god we don't have to deal with your dumb ass this time!

HAHA - your wife tells you what to do! what a tool!

Here is what I got in the last e-mail from them:

Now that Affiliate Summit 2007 West is sold out, some folks are putting their tickets up on eBay and creating a secondary market for tickets.

As we process cancellations, we're adding that space back into the system. So there are a small number of spots being added here and there.
You can try registering at http://www.regonline.com/100978 - if any spots were recently added, you will be able to book them.
Otherwise, the only option is the secondary market for tickets on eBay.
One important thing for buyers and sellers - complimentary passes are not transferable. If you want to buy a ticket on eBay, ask the seller for their registration number and name and contact registration@affiliatesummit.com to verify that the pass can be sold.

Good luck in the search.

Where is your entrepreneur spirit? When you decided you wanted to go, you should've just bought the ticket, then if you didn't get "the go ahead" you could've made a few extra bucks selling your ticket to someone like you.

If you had that ticket and held onto it till you got "the go ahead" you wouldn't be on WF looking for a ticket and no one would've known you need the wife's permission to attend an event! My sympathies to you at several levels.

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission. Life lesson for the day.

And if she says no, send her on a guilt trip, "I am trying my hardest to earn money for this family, and you shoot me down at every spot you get, I am sleeping on the couch!"

Funny Stuff - Guess I set myself up for it by the way the post was worded.

Last week, my wife and I were sitting around talking about our upcoming vacation to Brazil and where we would want to go next and she mentioned we had not been on a tax deductible trip in awhile. I jokingly said, want to go to Vegas on the IRS next week. I had forgotten about it, but she called on Friday and said she found someone to watch the kids.

When you have two little kids any excuse for a weekend alone with the wife is worth the effort. Being able to write it off is even more fun. Times like these when I think the IRS ain't all bad.

I still need an exhibit hall pass if anyone has one.
