The adsense below has an eCPM of 20-30$, but I'm afraid it looks too much like a menu item. Have you ever gotten into problems with adsense with a similar layout?

something told me to blur out the header also... it's a very complicated joke, if you focus your eyes on the blurred out text for 30 seconds you'll instantly get the meaning

$20-30 ecpms? with adsense? :s I dont believe it. How much traffic are you getting?

lol... you don't know... much do you?

OP.. That is perfectly fine.. If you wanna play safe: Add a word "Advertisement:" to the left of ads by google...

But the text links are meant to merge and look like menu links...
I have even used a background that surrounds each text.

bleh, havent really touched adsense in years. I still get checks for a couple of old sites that do $0.50 and $2 ecpm...

Actually the 20-30$ eCPM is what's scary about it, none of my sites are hitting higher than 3.5$. Traffic on this is low about 50-100 visitors daily.

Thank you.

Something that I noticed.
If you are Ranked 1 on Serp, the CTR skyrockets. Maybe because the person has only clicked once on google so he is willing to click more.. WIth higher CTR, the eCPM goes up..

I use a single unit above the post body.
And I get about $20 eCPM average. Somedays it is like 40-50.
None of my ads are deceptive.

PLUS: 2010 has been a much better year. Lots of brand advertisers are back with the old CPC driving up the eCPMs.

Like blogspotter mentioned, google actually prefers the blending. I have had their "optimization" team send me modified screenshots of my sites with suggested blending techniques. As far as high ecpm's, you should be fine. I have a few sites that have been averaging $100+ ecpm's for years.

If you are worried about throwing up red flags keep an eye on your CTR for each of your channels/sites.

those tpye of link units just go to a google search page bromance. i have sites with like $170 ecpm and 65% ctr and havent been questioned.

Adsense optimization team?? How do you get in touch with them...

Dunno how you're all getting higher than 30 eCPM unless you have sites in the Medieval Castle Home Insurance niche

is it really that crazy to have a site that is getting $1+ a click and has a CTR higher than 3% ? Not at all, and thats only one scenario, I have sites with CTRs 20%+

for a new site it starts off like that, but then clicks plummet to 0.02 cents, I don't even know how that's possible... (apart from that "Que" web-site above) I guess google thinks the web-site has horrible quality or I have to put more web-sites into the negative list to up the QA

I had some twat from Google contact me and tell me my ads were blended too well. I told them I just followed their example on one of their pages about blending ads (sent them the link to their own guidelines). They replied and said that isn't what they meant and I have to change it. 'tards.
