So I was so worked up designing good looking arbi pages that I got a slap in the face this morning.

One of the first arbi pages I put up (with a crap layout) has been making me about $2 a day for the last few days with a 100% CTR. Now I have no idea where it's getting the traffic from (as there is no PPC traffic going to it) but I got to tell you that I'm pretty amazed that a junky site like that is getting a good CTR.

The all time CTR for that site is 70%... pretty impressive.

So, lesson of the day: keep it simple stupid. Kiss and you'll be find.

70% avg is freaking amazing. I've never been able to get myself to put up totally plain, ugly arbi pages but if they work, why not.

Good job, I've gotten 200% CTR on some crap BH pages I've done. I guess people think that left skyscraper is a navbar. :anon.sml:

But that has only been on a select few days. Other days, nobody clicks lowering my ctr dramatically.
 
i've gotten 90% for a couple days with one template before i pulled it - was using a link unit which paid less.
