During a recent review of eBay Partner Network publisher accounts and site metrics data for clicks your account drives to eBay.com, we determined that the traffic generated from your account is significantly less engaged with the eBay site as compared to the standards set by our other affiliates. While we appreciate your efforts to drive traffic to our Advertiser sites, we do not think that it is mutually beneficial to further our business relationship at this time. As a result, we will be expiring your eBay Partner Network account in 7 days and we request that you remove all of your eBay Partner Network affiliate links by that time. Payment will take place as per the Network Agreement for any traffic driven to eBay Advertiser sites prior to the expiration date of August 27, 2008.

I made ~2k last month, not so much this month. I wonder why they did this.

I have been having a lot of down time though due to jumping around different hosts. I"m having horrible luck finding a good host.

They're doing what all smart merchants do - They compare lead payouts per publisher to revenue per lead per publisher. If things aren't in their favor, they have every financial reason to drop you.

Just got that mail today. Checked the boards, a LOT of people got that mail.

Interesting, my EPC was always above $10, not many ACRUs to speak of.

I think things will get very interesting tomorrow.

eBay's response is, uh, less than satisfying: eBay Forums: August 20 Expirations ...

It seems that they're throwing a lot of long time affiliates under the bus along with a small number who were sending them junk traffic. Typical eBay corporate mismanagement nonsense. Fortunately, I didn't get 'the letter' but I'm certainly going to be cutting back on the EPN niche sites I had planned and figure out something else to do with those domains.

I didn't get it, but like everyone else who didn't get it, I'm now quite wary about building any more sites for EPN. I had some domains I'd picked up recently, but I think I'll do something else with them now. And for the rest, I'll just wait for the hammer to fall. I bet they do another big purge before the Christmas shopping season really picks up steam.

I received that email last night. My EPCs were right around $10 as well. Pretty pissed off since I just recently scaled to 100+ sites and was on my way to 4 figs daily with them. Thanks eBay.

Ouch sorry to hear that, you guys who got booted could try running through pepperjam don't know if they have the same standards.

Crazy shit. Meanwhile I still got the EPN love while making bank with my serial killer accessories site.

I have absolutely no affiliation with this script, nor have I ever used it. But I heard it mentioned a while back when someone asked for an EPN alternative. Hope that helps.

Manalang makes a Wordpress plugin for Amazon called WP-Amazon. It's at manalang dot com /wp-amazon.

I played around with it a bit but I had some GUI issues with it, it may have been the PC that I was on.

The future (IMHO, just for me), is learning to incorporate ANY data feed from ANY commission program into a Wordpress blog. Time to go back to the lab.

....

Even though I'm just a scummy affiliate marketer, and my heart has shriveled to the size of my left testicle, I felt bad about those people who got thrown out of the EPN program. For some, that was their life, their only income.
I could peddle penis-enhancement tools for the next 1000 years to Mormon missionaries and still not achieve the level of evilness that I saw yesterday.

I'm reluctant to post on this thread for killing the skinny golden calf but, for some weird reason, my biggest site has ~ 150 impressions and > 500,000 clicks for this month. It's up to about $110. Yes, that's a EPC of 0.02. No, I didn't get "the email." I can't figure out where all these clicks are coming from, they don't show in my logs, and I'm worried about my $100/month site ( working on duplicating the "success" for that one, to others and make it $600/month ).
