My observations too, maybe people don't want competition there, in russian market where I did that it helped in conversions, I didn't seen $0.2 epc's cause of low payouts, but have seen conversion rates close to what discussed in that thread from my landings, especially in download, free reg - maybe (some times it was as high as 50% CR), but it's not easy to make a guy download few gigs after clicking on your ad without presell

I'm getting 0.25+ EPCs on my real first try at gaming on FB. It's fairy simple as long as the offer is good, obviously. The hard part in my experience has been, as Seema previously mentioned, getting good CTRs with the pretty dull images from the game.

Can't you say something like "Super Mario is BACK!" and have a pic of Mario in all his glory. Im guessing would get decent CTR if targeted to males who like Super Mario and all the related stuff.

Yup. Without keywords it's "only" 0.20+, which I assume is pretty good considering the amount of volume that's available. Damn those crazy bids though haha

Did a bit over $10k in rev with thatlast month, but have stopped promoting it. The average EPC I had on any of the countries was 8c. Awhile my avg cpc was 7c - 7.5c; so it ended up not being worth it. CTR on the other hand was high, which is why my bids were that low even on US demo.

Umm...yeah it does have a correlation...if an offer does extremely well for the advertiser, chances are that the offer itself is good, but your traffic/your payout/your promotion methods hinder your success on that offer.

You are speaking in a different pov. whether the offer is good for the advertiser does not mean it will work for the pub or not work for the pub.
advertiser has higher margins on their own offer than pubs/networks, thus they have the ability to run and do volume where other affiliates just cant reach while the affiliates fight for the scraps. regardless, $xx,xxx is decent but i would not consider that "killing".
Especially in the gaming niche, advertisers kill their offers internally mainly through large scale display buys. The larger companies like bigpoint can do well over $xx,xxx on their offers.
Forgot to ad, its MUCH easier for them to strike CPA deals with large ad networks. why would these adnetworks accept lower-paying affiliates? They have the ability to do serious numbers fairly easily
