Any good place to sell local leads?

I would definitely go with jahedul's suggestion.

Not sure if there are enough buyers for specific leads, as they don't have a traction in a lot of categories, but you can check out reply.com
PS: I haven't deal with them but I read a bit about it couple years back

servicemagics lead payouts suck. $10 for a remodel lead? Its worth a hell of a lot more then that

Not that I do a large amount of lead gen but these are my experiences with my 2 lead gen sites.

Go direct. Call around and offer try before you buy. I offer clients 1 week of free leads (I wouldn't do this for finance but it's good for what you're talking about) and after that they are hooked because they know it's going to make them money.

I switched to a flat monthly fee because I got sick of them bitching about that 1/10 lead that they paid for which was from a time waster. Again, I wouldn't do this for finance related leads.

I'd make more of these sites if it wasn't for the fact Google maps/local continue to eat away at traffic for these types of small business keywords.

Obviously, contacting a contracting company directly and eliminating any middlemen will always get you top $$.

Also, that $10 per lead for a remodel is horrible if it's for a total kitchen renovation -- not bad if it's just for a visitor wanting an estimate for a laminate floor installed for a 120 sq ft room.

I agree that local leads are the way to go. Too many middlemen want a cut into your business, and then you don't always have control of your final issues. Plus, it's time consuming.

Total kitchen or bathroom makeover costs 1k gbp minimum minimorum here in London for example. Guess should be about the same in big cities in US. So selling that lead for 10 bucks? Go to your local tradesmen direct, guys.

1k? Please can I have the number of your kitchen makeover guy? 3k for a really shitty job, more like 10 if you get a nice kitchen.

I am going to get into a bit of this. I can rank these types of sites pretty easily nowadays. I plan to just do a little cold canvasing and be straight with the people. I will call and be like, "Hey I'm calling all plumbers in the area, blah blah blah. I have xx number of people looking to get their shitters fixed, from my google website. (something along those lines). How about you buy my website, I'll host it for free, you get all of the leads...we walk away friends. If he isn't interested, I will use yellabot to scrape all businesses in the area. Somethings gotta give, I mean who doesn't want new biz? And I don't mind getting put on blast by 10 people to get 1 person to see the value here
