Anyone have a email list and make constant money off it?

For one of my ebook businesses I've had an email list for over 2 years now. It's got about 30 follow-up emails and I haven't touched the damn thing for well over a year. And on days like Black Friday, all I have to do is copy and paste the black Friday email I sent last year and resend it. lol

I'd start a list promoting other ppl's offers, and if you can make a little profit or at least break even, then take it to the next level and create a info product in the market. It opens the doors to so many more opportunities and so much more profit. And you can get a solid ebook written for 1-2k.

Info product + email list = Closest thing to being on auto-pilot. I honestly maybe worked 10 hours this whole year on my ebook biz and it's set to make almost exactly what it did last year.

What's up guys... a very large part of my business is email marketing. I've used it to help build one of the most popular products in clickbank. In short, yes there is a lot of money to be made on email marketing. Not only with the broadcasts, but the auto-responder series for your products are where the real money is. Also, keep in mind the leverage you have once you build a list of say, 400,000 people interested in making money from home ;)

From my experience, after mailing all of the best biz opp / work at home offers in clickbank.. here are some things you should note.

Good open rates: 10% for a large list (list contains names as old as 1 year)
Good click through rates: 45% with the aforementioned still being the same, and also with a good email ad copy
Good epcs: $0.30 for a good offer (our list is 75% international keep in mind).

Some people claim you can make $1/epc with offers etc... but when you have a very large list, it generally isn't a very narrow list (i.e. ONLY people from the U.S.) and may be a bit broader. If you have a very targeted list, it is possible.

Anyways, having a large list gives you power.. you can get favors from people.. to mail your offer, gain noteriety on the leaderboards and get noticed by big marketers.. make connections.. etc.

To have your EPC shoot through the roof, do list segmenting. So you got that broad list of "make money online", right? So before you push, let's say a PPC product, broadcast a link to an opt-in page. The people interested in PPC will subscribe and be automatically unsubscribed from the general list and then you can specifically pitch the product to them later on, as well as other PPC related stuff in the future. Aweber has an automation tab, check that out. Do this segmenting for all possible areas so people not interested in a particular sub-niche won't be annoyed and water down your open/CTR/conversion rates.
