Anyone running Facebook Ads for local businesses?

So I'm helping out a friend of mine who's a dentist and who was interested in running some promotions online. I figured I'd start off with Facebook because I've heard they're far more lenient with local ads than with affiliate ones. At least that's what I thought, unfortunately, I can't get an ad approved to save my life. I keep getting rejected for my landing page.

The content of your ad violates our Ad Guidelines. If your ad leads to a destination URL that prompts users to the input personal data (such as a phone number, email address, etc.), please ensure that there is a privacy policy clearly available that guarantees the protection of such data.

The first landing page I created had a form collecting name, e-mail, and phone number. It was rejected because I didn't have a privacy policy. So I added a privacy policy and it didn't do a damn thing. Ads kept getting rejected all day yesterday. So today I decided to get rid of the form and changed my call to action to just the phone number of the business. Absolutely no data collection whatsoever. Still didn't matter, I'm getting rejected for the same damn reasons. Was wondering if anyone had some insight into possible solutions. It blows my mind that Facebook is being a pain in the ass with a legitimate local business.

because of the many friends here, many ads are disapproved on auto..either resubmit the ad (a few times) and see if it'll go through - or just contact them and go down that chain (preferred) - since you don't have ulterior motives.

Have you tried adding two privacy policies to the page? I'd add a little note under your CTA, something along the lines "We respect your privacy and your information will never be shared or sold with any 3rd party." - then I'd add a in-depth privacy policy in the footer which clearly distinguishes what data you do collect and how you use that data.

Also, have you tried contacting them through the ad disapproval help form?

I found you always have to create a new destination URL to get Facebook to accept your link once they have blocked it once (even if you change what caused the issue). Remake your landing page and upload to a new directory and try submitting again with your privacy policy, etc.
