Arbi as sustainable cashflow option?

As my friend gladi8tor said, yes, its not rocket science, but this is the newbie section, and that is the reason Im trying to explain things. It all looks like a mountain when you are new. When experience kicks in, you can create arbitrage campaigns while being drunk.

One more hint that came to me just now:

I read somewhere, it takes the same time to promote a 3$ product as it takes to promote a 140$ product. So, go for the big stuff, BUT only after you have some experience. Logging in 12 different affiliate networks and seeing a bunch of zeros can break your devotion really fast. Try something small first, make it sell, marvel on your genius and then push your limits.

And, as halfpc said, look at what other people are doing successfully and try to find out why.

that's right, and this isn't a diss at jened but I think that 99.5 of the people talking on the forums are working for a boss and making jack shit on the net.

i think this proves my point. stop spending so much time reading other newbies posts and just do it. arbi is like internet marketing lite. we're talking pennies instead of dollars. you really fuck up and you've wasted maybe $5. try it and test the hell out of it. you don't need to buy a $100 tool and spend 12 hours on keyword research for one arbi page.

I like this discussion. Well, I have been doing some arbi, and have gotten mixed results. However, my question(s) along the lines of discussion are:

Is there a tool that I can use to put up simple sites real easily and quick?

Hosting: I was thinking of purchasing Hostgators' $10/mo plan, willl this be sufficient in order to do arbi, with me using unlimited domains that the package offers?

hostingwise I have found ByetHost.com ◊ Free web Hosting, to be good for $3 a month with paypal. Only 20 domains, ok as I only need one or two.

not sure about the tool, I make static pages by hand.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the advice, particularly glowleaf. Quit my job a few months ago and making an attempt at affiliate marketing among some other things. Starting my first arbi campaign tomorrow and the information provided here has been helpful.

Don't mind me asking, is affiliate marketing working out for ya?

Definitely could not survive doing just this at the moment. Fortunate enough to try this for a few months in tandem with other things. Kicked off my first arbi campaign today. Will see how that goes. Been trying to partner up with some friends but none of them are interested so a little more work for me.
