articles and site content

hey,
im learning seo at the moment, with intention to do am.
i understand the value of articles and articles directories.

im not native english speaker, and although i will try to do my best, i would probabely rely on outsourcing for content(at least at first).

im thinking of making a content site(and maybe hybrid with something else like reviews), and my question is the articles i send to articles directories can also be a section on my site?
i know its causing duplicate content, but the directories idea is also for other people to use your articles in their site so it will be duplicated if you wont put it in your site also.

or its prefereble to write content for your site, and different articles that wont be on your site and will be sent to directories, for seo purpuses?

Google hates duplicate content more than god hates shrimp.
Just take your articles and send it through a spinner, like content boss, before passing it on to an article directory.

Although if u go to douchebag forums (like wafo, of dumpicalPointlessness for example) youll find zillions of people who claim duplicate content is 'great'. They all make 'millions' from sites with 'nothing but duplicate content'. And none of them will ever show you one of their sites that they claim 'rank highly for competitive keywords'.

there are even people on HERE that claim the same.

bottom line google hates dupes cos it clogs up the serps, and they have to dedupe before displaying, which costs (processor time = money). If you rank for anything worth ranking for with dupe content, it's just a fucking accident, and you WONT build a business on it.

sorry to sound so neg, but thats the simple fact of the matter nowadays. Its not 19-fucking-99 fercrissakes.

Yeah, I agree with that Google hates duplicate content. The best way for that is to come up with many unique articles by writing or by spinning articles. You can even hire a freelance writer for your content. Just make sure its unique.

Spin the articles, but manually, using {this|the following} {syntax|code|format}. If you rely on auto spinners most of the article directories will not accept your content.

Google definitly doens't like duplicate content, google will just de index the duplicate content, so its not worth it if your using the duplicate articles for backlinks as those backlinks on the duplicate content wont be counted in googles eyes
