Anybody else seen the ads for this?

INFORMATION REVOLUTION

Pretty smart on Ask's part, playing up the "rebel" factor. Interesting marketing tactic too.

Actually, stuff like this is only cool if people don't "get it".

With this, there is people all over the web complaining about being played.
Still, they have a valid point: getting all your info from one source is bad.

Is it really Ask.com that put up this site, or just one smart marketer ?

I know exactly what they are talking about. I did the same thing. My favorite search engine is google. There are keywords I'm searching for on a monthly basis, but the results hardly change, so you get to the same results time after time. So, I noticed this and tried different search engines, and guess what. New results and new business oppurtunities.

I would recommend everyone to try different search engines because this can expand your business as well. You will find new sites and oppurtunities, you meet new people at forums you would not have found through (for example) google.

Almost definitely Ask.com. Unless one smart marketer can afford to advertise all over the London Underground.
