I agree about the notes. They really need to say WHAT is wrong with an ad, not just a stock response - hopefully you can send that along to them.

I would also like to know if an ad hits a certain CTR and/or avg CPC if it automatically goes into review so they can disapprove it.

ie: .40 ctr with avg CPC .05

How does the thumbs up and thumbs down affect ads impression?

How do you protect us from click fraud?

A short while ago, I saw some posts here about getting your ads approved automatically and instantly. You had to pause an already accepted ad and create a similar one (using the create similar ad button). I tried it, but never got it working. How does this automatic and instant approval work?

If you create a similiar ad, and only change the targeting of the ad (NOT the destination url, ad copy or photo), there is no reason the ad needs to be reviewed and will start running instantly.

I ran a test the other day because my ads kept getting declined. Anyways, I copied an ad that was running word for word, and used the same picture.

Why was mine disapproved?

If you're looking to get a budget increase cap of $5k/day or more read the following:

For those of you looking to spend upwards of $5,000 per day on Facebook, shoot me a pm with your FB account ID and a sample of a campaign screen shot you've run (doesn't have to be from FB, just proof that you can legitimately spend what you say you can and not just poking around for higher limits for the hell of it), and I'll pass it over to him to raise your daily spend limit in exchange for feedback. He's pretty good about it. Don't worry about multiple account issues either, as I have more than one too and it wasn't an issue.

If we submit this request, is cloaking going to be an issue?

Should have the first set of answers posted here by tomorrow, keep the questions coming. Looks like we can do more than 25 total since some of them are good ones.

Another one: How do they handle non-English ads (with non-English LPs)? Google translate?

If you create a similiar ad, and only change the targeting of the ad (NOT the destination url, ad copy or photo), there is no reason the ad needs to be reviewed and will start running instantly.

Are you sure? I tried it, but it didn't work. But my ad was a dating ad, so maybe that's why?

They really should take a look at the algorithm that they use to space out traffic. Three days in a row Ive come within $10 of hitting my limit.

That is ridiculous. If you have an offer that doesnt take off at 2:30 am eastern when they turn your ad back loose, you kinda get screwed, and it does cost them money. When this happend before, I had to stay up and turn some shit loose with high bids in order to meet the limit.

It was worth it, but still, they are screwing themselves.

One more,

If John clicks an Rachel Acai ads today, when will he see the same Rachel Acai ads again ( assuming he doesn't thumbs up or thumbs down the ads)?

Hey, check this out. It looks like this thread is already paying off. Instead of the usual email "ad disapproved", Today I got "ad needs editing" :

Dear Lauren:

Thanks for advertising with Facebook. Upon reviewing your account, we have determined that one or more of your ads do not meet our guidelines in their current state. Your ad has been edited by a reviewer to meet Facebook's Advertising Guidelines. If you accept these edits, this ad can be approved to run on the site. Please review the change(s) that have been made to the title and/or body of this ad.

Original ad
*HERE THEY TELL MY MY ORIGINAL AD**
-----------------------------------

Revised ad
-----------------------------------
***HERE THEY TELL ME WHAT THEY WANT ME TO SAY**
-----------------------------------

To review this change, go to **HERE THEY PUT A LINK**

You can choose to accept the change in which case the revised preapproved version of your ad will go live as scheduled. You can also choose to reject the suggested change by deleting the ad. If you delete the ad, neither the original ad nor the revised ad will run on the site. If you wish to make further changes, your ad will need to be reviewed again and approved before it can begin running. If you need further assistance with your ads or need to contact Facebook about your advertising account, please visit **HERE THEY PUT ANOTHER LINK***
Thanks again for advertising with Facebook Ads.

Sincerely,

The Facebook Ads Team

Turns out it was just a grammatical error. If they keep this up I just might go back to using them full time instead of just randomly.
