Auto Classified Ads Script Recommendations?

I'm looking to build a local car classifieds site. I've looked into several open source options, but there's not a whole lot of information available to the ones I've looked at, I'd be willing to pay as well. Here's what I'm looking for:

  • Fairly easy to use. Automated posting, member registration, as little "hands on" work from my end as possible.
  • The ability to offer premium listings.
  • The ability to easily integrate it with a custom template, or a system that has some nice predesigned templates to choose from.
  • Easy integration of banner ads, adsense, ect.
  • Ability to set ad expiration limits.
  • Easy to use admin.
I guess that's about it. My experience in web design is pretty minimal, usually just simple landing pages and stuff. This will be my first "long term" type of website.

what area of the country are you in? i am wondering because that will affect the amount of traffic you might expect, and to what degree this app needs to be scalable.
 
I live in the midwest, and the site will cover a geographic area of around 200 miles with a population of several million.

I may end up hiring a programmer, because I haven't seen an out of the box solution yet that fits my needs, and building something like this from scratch would be way over my head.
