Alright, here's some feedback for you on this software.
The harvester works as intended, and it's fast. Great job - would love to see some proxy support included in this for the future so I can bang out searches back to back all day. Also, would love to have some way to detect if the blogs are nofollow/dofollow.
Here are some issues I discovered with the Blog Commenter and general feedback:
1) There's no way to tell if you've been blacklisted by Akismet. When you're posting comments normally and Akismet has blacklisted you, you will generally be taken to a blank white page or have the page reload with no changes and no "your comment must be approved" message. Some way to detect that your comments are not going through would be most helpful.
2) The Commenter crashed twice on me, while posting, with no explanation. Both times, a dialog box tried to popup that said something about entering a name before the program crashed.
3) There's no way to see what information you have in your current loaded profiles. Obviously this would be addressed in future versions.
4) There's no way to save the batch - if you stop commenting in the middle of a list, or the program crashes, etc... your list is screwed. I have no clue where I was in the middle of my two lists when the commenter crashed, so I had to toss those lists entirely. Not a major deal, but annoying nonetheless.
5) There's no way to detect and record blogs where your comment was automatically approved and posted. This would be VERY handy, if there was some sort of verify function. Saving these autoapprove blogs to a list could come in handy for future commenting.
6) Only WordPress blogs are supported, which is a major issue because of Akismet and how strong the spam protection is. Once Drupal and other blog platforms are supported, there will be a much higher approval percentage.
Overall, the price is right at this stage and the software works. As you build it out, it will become more useful and powerful, and you'll be able to charge more for it.
Good luck and I look forward to future updates.
