I do a lot of my newsletter and site registrations with unique addys for spam tracking. In the last week, several of the ones signed up with aweber have started getting tons of pharma emails.

Lots of fun to turn off those addys and reregister with the lists I actually want to hear from.

or the person(s) just exported the email list and sold it to spammers.

So, aweber who is supposed to be the most reliable, best mailing system out there got hacked. They don't want you to worry because nothing really was stolen , other than the emails you got.

So now, those emails you worked on getting are now getting sent quite a volume of mail..................Good job aweber!

i wonder if the affiliate portion has had problems 2. I have noticed some strange things!

And I thought I was the only one getting these stupid fucking pharm emails all of a sudden.

It really is a slap in the face that I have to jump through so many hoops to import a legitimate customer list (had to have a 10 minute phone call with one of their reps once to allow an import) and they let a server get compromised just like that.

This sucks...but the good thing is those e-mails are / were not being mailed through the aweber system so basically whoever mails them will still have a hard time avoiding the spam box while your e-mails will continue to go through. Still shitty but what can you do.
