Azoogle screwed me...

So i am a newbie and i was running a campaign that my AM suggested for newbies. But the campaign had a monthly lead cap and my AM didn't tell me this. The second day of my campaign the program hit its cap. but i didn't get ANY notification from azzogle.

so i spent $50 (i know it's not much) sending traffic to my landing page but the offer was being redirected to some random offer not related to my site.

I contacted my AM and he told me that it reached the monthly cap. i was kind of pissed he didn't tell me BEFORE. what if i was spending a few hundred a day on the campaign??? This makes me nervous that i may get screwed worse in the future.

So i asked him for a $5 credit. he told me we'll talk when he gets back in after new years....

does this sort of thing happen a lot? how can i prevent it?

(i guess the good news is that my landing page had an amazing CTR to my affiliate offer, so i'm pretty excited to get back into it next month!)
 


yea that blows. i assume you're talking about iwon. i got a notification moments after the cap was broken. guess it depends on your volume.

yeah, since i had just started 2 days before and only testing with $50 it could be because of my volume. But i took the remainder of this month to solidify my landing page and my adwords campaigns...

you had never done AM before and were going to set up your 1st campaign jan 2 .....and I thought I didnt have enough time in each day, your days really fly by.

technically i started it mid december, but it ran for one day before "azoogle screwed me". So i am restarting jan 2. I don't consider running the campaign for one day a real start.....
 
I actually got a call from my AM and woke me up to tell me about the monthly cap. Which I really appreciated :)
 
Jovan Caputo. Good guy. This week he missed to tell me one of the caps ended on a promotion but I only wasted like $2 before I noticed. He might be off though since I tried calling but didn't seem to be at work. Vacation I guess, sall good.

rgordon83 - Best thing to do is keep checking daily. If you're paying for clicks but don't see any change in your Azoogle account just click on the offer link and see if its still up.
