oke, working/reading for a day now on SEO and probably an absolute stupid question, but...

When replying to a blog with a link in your reply why do you have to fill in your website? You already put in your emailadress!

and how do you get your website link in the text like;
click "here" for goed info on...?
can you do this with putting a html tag around "here" in your comment text?

Can anyone explain this?

Normally when you fill in your website, it makes your "name" you put in, a clickable link to the site itself. Also, under normal circumstances, (i.e. wordpress) it's not beneficial to be posting links in comments anyway, as most blog owners have implemented a no-follow on all comment links. Your best bet would be to get the blog owners permission and have him/her link you directly in one of his posts, as deep content links are worth much more than comment links...

Hi zxlk21e,
You are absolutely right. Why not to prefer forum signature linking than conventional blog comments linkig. I don't think links in forums are set as no follow by webmasters. What you say?
