I've been researching Affiliate marketing, and understand the main concept and what I'm supposed to do, but I need to clear up somethings.

1. Is making a domain name extremely recommended, or can I live with just making a free one like a .tk redirecting thing? (i'm planning on making articles that link to my referral)
2. If I make a website, what should the format be? Should it just be a website named on the theme of whatever I'm promoting and a basic article on it? Or should I make one huge website with all the products I'm advertising?
3. Is there any affiliate marketing site like Clickbank that can pay you with paypal?
4. Can I see anyone's website as an example?
5. How profitable can it be when working at it passively?

1. Domain names cost around $10 for the small investment it is well worth doing.
2. Make a website on one particular niche rather then a jumbled mess of a bunch of different things. Decide what your keywords are and build your content around those.
3. Yeah there are plenty
4. Probably, but not mine :P
5. If done right and you are agressive, it can be very profitable, a passive approach will depend upon your niche and it's competition but can certianly make you a few extra dollars a month

I'm getting tired of that link. Anyway, to the original poster. I can offer you personal help as your affiliate manager if you want to join Express Revenue. If you do, drop me an email at JCooper@expressrevenue.com and I'll talk to you.

Yooo... you should push someone elses products until you finish your site like clickbank or one of these folks that have affiliate sites....

You are off to a good start, and asking the right questions.

When you are ready check out the CPA networks floating around this forum and give a few a call - there are some great networks out there. You will get great offers in those networks and you may learn a few things about PPC and other forms of marketing here -- but if you take a "passive" approach at this like any business it will fail. If anyone told you that this is get rich quick or make easy money they lied to you. To make money you must work.

Brendan is right - passive = fail. especially in the beginning, balls to the wall.
