Being approved by merchants

Hi,

I registered at CJ and submitted my website to 2 merchants about ten days ago, I still have no news from the merchants. I'm wondering how long it takes to be approved (or not) by merchants at CJ and in internet marketing in general.

Some will never answer you request to become their affiliate, my rule of the thumb is if i do not hear from the merchant in 24 hours i am moving on, i am not some bitch that will wait around for some merchant to approve me

The merchant has the option to auto approve or hand select the affiliates. If they look at your main site and doesn't fit their business model, you might not be approved. For example, if you have a travel site and you asked to join a home improvement program, most like you will be declined. Agree with DaveNL to move on!
