I'm not even going to weigh in on this one because no one needs any affiliate software as there are enough networks already that are understaffed, underfunded, and don't have a fucking clue what is going on.

HasOffers came in at the right time. I give them a lot of credit for entering a " tight marketplace". The typical buyer does not have the funds to get something custom in the works, and there are only so many choices available. Hasoffers has multiple functions / uses. Its cheaper and definately opened up a can of whoop ass.
The only thing HasOffers has opened up is a can of "fraud ass". Their barrier of entry is way too low. Low to the point that *anyone* can open up a network, even the chinese scammers who screw over rebill merchants. (this I've seen personally).

Sure I'm biased, but networks should NOT be cheap and easy to open. Beyond the fact that running a network is complicated, you are fucking around with OTHER people's money. You should have successful affiliate marketing experience and a willingness to risk a significant amount of your own money trying to open a network. If you aren't willing to risk that cash, you should not be running a network.

im running mine very nicely, over 100 offers, a few 100k of my own cash floating around, a team of 10, i picked hasoffers cuz it was perfect, before hasoffers i was going to go with hitpath, but like i said the level of shaving with them is crazy, when i called them anyway, my experience, was that they try to sell you on their scripts ability to shave. Hasoffers wont let you shave, It's not even mentioned during any sales pitch.
Aside from their cheap free version (which im trying to get them to brand the free versions to let affiliates know) that anyone can use, their custom packages are really good. Click wise insanely cheap when compared to the others. The price is just competition at it's best. DON'T HATE!!

Just because a network uses hasoffers dont mean SCAM.
Sign up for the networks if they have only 2 offers or something like that then yes, just pass understandable, but other then that saying its a hasoffers network must be a scam is just wrong when im working 18hrs, paying ridiculous amounts of money out to affiliates and staying on top of my shit.:disgust:

It all depends on what you business model is, how serious you are about uptime and real tracking, what if any extra features and customized requirements you want/have, and what your growth and business plan looks like.

To those that say "go custom" I'd love to see how ridiculously amateurish their businesses actually are.

You need to sink about $500K as a starter into a real custom system. I doubt many people here will make $500K in the next 5 years, let alone have it to spend on custom software.

Steve I agree with you that there are potential problems ahead, and always will be. It's up to the advertiser and network to do their own traffic analysis to determine sources as well as other conjoining factors that weigh in. I have seem quite a few applications from networks within HasOffers that I wouldn't touch with a 50 ft pole. I have also seen the same with hitpath and DT.

An asian frauder could easily have made a large sum of cash and invested in other software. Sure it's easier to use HasOffers.

If anything you can benefit. It puts more of a red flag in your mind from the get go, and helps the affiliate prove themselves.

Networks pop up and go down all of the time. Most networks are funded with little money up front, and they don't understand the risks that can be implied. South Florida for example has been a hot issue lately with their laws.

Any business you start is a risk. You have to be willing to adapt, loose it all, or make it all. The big names will ALWAYS prevail and stay ahead of the competition.

I don't disagree with your second paragraph, but signing up a HasOffers account doesn't mean you have opened a network and I don't think that HasOffers existing makes starting an affiliate network cheap and easy. Your tracking platform is like a toolbox to a construction worker (or something like that); it is part of the operation, but it isn't the business plan, the contacts and relationships, the industry knowledge, etc. Can HasOffers help people fake those things?

Unless you are a developer by trade, in which case it costs $0.

LinkTrust > ScrubPath
I don't like leads coming in packets. HitPath has a built in scrub feature... why would you want to run your traffic on that POS? I have a HasOffers setup and I like it so far, but it's just REALLY new and it's lacking a lot of features.

Linktrust's new interface is absolute garbage. Yeah make it take 3 different clicks to view offers or run reports. Garbage.

Plus let's not kid ourselves, we all know scrubbing can take place on any platform. Oh it's not built in? Yeah, it's really difficult to collaborate with an advertiser to rotate pixels firing.

Now I will say their ability to self place pixels was really welcomed 18 months ago when not that many platforms had that easily available. They're a fine solution with a UI designed by morons. But it works, it tracks, it's fine.

But your scrubbing angle is great marketing, but that's about it.

Ive had DT, Hitpath, Hasoffers, and a cheap indian custom script. Out of all, I like Hasoffers the best, however the fucking pixel is not nearly as accurate as Linktrust.

If you are stringent on how accurate the tracking is then Linktrust would be your best buy. However if not, then hasoffers isnt bad at all. One big problem I see with hasoffers however is the sad fact that they dont give SSL to the networks' signup pages, which is pretty fucking important when you have affiliates putting in their bank information/taxable info.

you don't know much opportunity cost, do you? You also don't now much about the complexities of coding and supporting a tracking system that can handle even a moderate sized network.

Ive seen what the user Peerfly is capable of. In his case it is free with the knowledge he knows, how to imply it, and go about doing so.

He codes in his mind all day. Practically like english to him.
