If you wanted to advertiser on Yahoo Finance, and spend $200/$300k a month... Does anyone have an insight into the best way to go about this?

Go through a network like, DoubleClick or BlueLithium?

Or go direct to Yahoo themselves?

Direct - DC and BlueLithium brings nothing more to the plate for you if you are going to spend $2-300k/month. You will be placed on yield manager and start to rock and roll. If you have an established relationship with DC or lithium then price them against each other. But you will most likely have a better shot at getting better traffic rather than remnant if you go direct.

So, could possibly be cheaper to go through Blue Lithium etc... As they sell remnant space.

Though... this would not offer enough traffic to spend 200k/month?

hmm.

P.S. I cannot load http://bluelithium.com at all. Currently traveling, and in the last two hotels in Toronto... cannot bring it up.

Down here too. Yahoo bought them. Maybe this is another thing they fail at.

Did BlueLithium shut down or something?

Website doesn't work, (so got emails and phone numbers off internet archive)... Phones are disconnected, all emails are bouncing...

does http://bluelithium.com work for others?

Hope I can help here.

BL was bought about two years ago by Yahoo. Yahoo took the technologly and wrapped it into what is now the 'Yahoo Performance Network." So the brand BL is dead hence the issues above but the same thing can be achieved by going directly through Yahoo.

As far as pricing goes direct is always the best price. Everyone including ad networks pay the same price for our inventory so when you buy via a 3rd party you are paying a margin.

Hope this helps
