Hi,
I have an adword ads for "Niche X" that lands on a page I host on my server.
When someone click the ad, I want to redirect the traffic from my landing page directly to the product, automatic, because somehow some people never click thru even there is nothing else to do and its just like a splash page.

I know there is many ways to redirect but I dont know which way is accepted/tolerated by google.
Ive looked in the forum, and on google help, and cant seem to find a definite right answer.
Ideally I want google to use the affiliates product page to guess my quality, but I dont want to link directly to them.

Google likes no automatic redirects. It is against their TOS.

People not clicking on your links on the landing page means:
1) They were not targeted in the first place(Your ad: "Free beer!" pointed to a woodworking offer).
2) Your landing page sucks(content, can't find the link, too spammy, whatever)
3) This is what many people do. Otherwise we would all have 100% CTR from the landing page.

You have to make it easy for them to see the link, and be more motivated to click the link than only clicking it to get the hell off your page(thats what the close-window/back button is for!).

Even if you 'tempt' them with a simple landing page, click here for more, and then instead of another page, you CAN redirect them from THAT page. Still requires a link, but it is more compatible with the TOS.

But you may want to put some work into the landing page content if you want to avoid the $1.00+ clicks...

You should use your landing page to upsell whatever you are trying to get your users to do...
If they aren't clicking then you need to come up with a better (and more convincing) landing page.

Once you get the 'formula' down and get a decent landing page you will wonder why you ever wanted to go without it ;)

cheers

Ah man this sucks...
There is no way to redirect that is ok with them ?
how about .htaccess ?
php ?
meta refresh ?
java script ...

No matter how good your landing page is, it still is 1 click more before the user actualy gets to whatever he wants to buy already ...

Someone has a good landing page template example ?

Frame Offer

You COULD iframe the offer, or even use frames. Some advertisers do not like this, neither does some Affiliate Marketing Networks.

It is important to keep a clean record, knowing whats allowed and whats not is also important. Talk to your AM.

Nice thread thanks jared.

I so I did a landing page, I am waiting for the affiliate department to validate my page... I have all my adwords ads ready so just waiting for that.

My landing page is pretty simple, its like just a "splash" screen , kinda like an advertisement for the X product they are looking for, with "buy now" in big... so anyways if it doesnt workout ill show it here to get some critics i guess hehe.
