Can't seem to find a thread about this. Is it generally a bad idea to have a big brand name in your domain name? For example

ilovecocacola.com
or sonyhifireviews.com

Would I end up being raped in a gay way for such things as this?

Yes, some brands will send you DCMA's or other stuff. So if you are going for a longterm site with longterm $$ then, just avoid brandnames in your domain.

I've seen a bunch of brandnamesucks.com sites up.
Also gave a couple back, just cause i dont have the time.
Long term vs Quick Buck is a good way of looking at it. That was good advise.

If you are promoting their products, i think there should be not any problem at all. As you are helping them to make their products more popular
