blog or website??

Hey fellas luv the site, just got a couple a questions.. which would be better - a website with or without blogs? I am using wordpress with the socrates theme only coz its easy to use and i dont have to worry about editing php files and its good for beginners. Having a site with no blogs would be better and cleaner but does it really matter? I will only have a few posts up about the item with a couple of adsense ads.
I know of some sites that have a 3 or 4 blogs that get decent conversions and are ranked high.
Also while we are on the subject, should i have comments disabled on all the blogs as it will only be a selling site?

Comments on, shows there is activity... whether it's real or not. Also as Dubya said more content is always better.

I’d say having a blog can still add value, especially if you cover useful topics like wheelchair accessible vehicles uk, since fresh content often helps with both ranking and user trust.
