Hello everybody,

Today I received an email from one person, who is interested in buying permanent blog post backlinks in my blog. He says he would like to place 3-4 lines of text links under the content of the post. He asks what will I charge for permanent links in a post? He also wants to know what discount can I offer as he is interested in buying more than one post.

The thing is... I have no idea. I have only sold links in sidebar before. My blog has PR3, gets ~60k unique visitors and about 400k pageviews a month. How can I determine the optimal price? Thank you, I appreciate your assistance.

60-70$ for one link per year.
In a inner page which has no PR? I'm not sure, isn't that a bit too expensive? I sold site-wide backlink in a footer of my site for 150$ for one year and considered this a good bargain. And what about permanent links? Let's say one year link price is x. What should permanent link price be then? 2x, 3x?

With Text Link Ads, you can get at least $10 a month. Not that I recommend selling links on your blog. It would just hurt your website reputation in the eyes of search engines.

I typically pay anywhere from $10 - $300 for a post (including permanent links in a post) depending on site variables versus my goals.

Most sites usually fall within the $20-$50 range.
