bluehost sites down.

I have a client on them - their site has currently down too.

I'm moving them once I finish their new site. Their site has gone down a few times, and their database has been needed resetting a few times over the past month because of something Bluehost is doing on the server. Tech support says it's all fine, but it miraculously fixes itself once they are notified that my client's site isn't pulling any database information for products and no scripts have changed.

Bluehost oversells their servers. You know it's bad when a site has to be "throttled" most of the day.

So that's their idea of exciting? Wooh!

Conspiracy theorists, reunite!

My understanding is taht they are in the process of building a bigass datacenter to accomidate their continued growth - including backup generators. Again, not defending site down time ... its a losing battle to do so and most all hosting companies experience problems like this....
