If the domains have PR (at least initially) that means they have already been used, how do we know these are not penalized?

I received this question a few times via PM, and i believe it's best to post an answer here as well.

We will buy expired domains, but we always check their back links profile before buying. If the back links portfolio looks bad, we move on.

If you wish we can even register brand new domains for your network.
 
Just got my first order back. I too was concerned about penalised domains but flx89 let me specify a few things to try and avoid this. Anyway I got 5 good looking sites made, better than expected. I was impressed that some of the sites have niche related words in the domains.

Only one of the sites has any backlinks showing in ahrefs (but I did specify no obviously spammed domains). All but one cleared as valid pagerank on RankChecker - Check Fake PageRank (PR), Alexa, and SEO Details (it said could not be verified, not fake), but that one site cleared as valid on a similar checker. I'm a bit clueless about these things but will be sending some PR links to these sites so I assume they will keep their PR.

Overall very happy. Will probably be ordering more after testing how effective they are. Or might just order some more anyway soon.
