Hi,
I was on an article site when I ran into a Kontera add that led to this page.
FindStuff.com - hats
I have a similar site that I am trying to figure out tracking for. It looks like these guys have some sort of database that they input figures into, like source=k would be kontera I'm assuming.
I don't really know how to set something like this up. But basically, I am going to have a page that is similar to this, and I want to know how to track which keywords ended up as clicks to the ads. I will be marketing this site through search, contextual, kontera type sites, and other methods.
Any suggestions, or insight into what findstuff is doing here? I don't really understand it. I notice that when you click a yahoo ad, it goes to a red.php page first, which is a redirect page. Probably tied into the query string to track the outgoing click. Just not sure how it is done exactly.
So, what I'm looking to do is track which keywords from google, yahoo, msn, banners, or any other traffic source are leading to clicks on my site. It looks like the site above does this. I would want to record the source, adgroup, keyword, and have the ability to record any parameter that a source may have.
I don't know php and would gladly pay someone to set up a system for me.
My website is shoppingbounce.com Don't mind the fact that it is still being developed. The shopzilla section works, and that is what I will be using for now. I'll be sending users to a page like this : Sony Handycam - Shoppingbounce.com and would like to track if the user clicks on one of the exit links.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
